Optos California Ultra-Widefield Retinal Imaging

A healthy retina is essential for clear vision, yet many retinal conditions develop without early symptoms. The Optos California allows us to capture an exceptionally wide view of the retina in a single image, helping our doctors detect, document, and monitor changes that may otherwise be difficult to detect.

Zeiss Cirrus Optical Coherence Tomography

The ZEISS CIRRUS OCT provides highly detailed, cross-sectional images of the retina and optic nerve—almost like an optical ultrasound performed with light. This painless test helps us detect and monitor glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal membranes, macular holes, and other conditions with remarkable precision.

Carrot Visual Field Testing

Visual field testing evaluates both central and peripheral vision and is especially important for patients with glaucoma or neurological concerns. Our Carrot headset-based system provides this testing in a more comfortable and accessible format, making it easier for patients who have mobility limitations, neck or back discomfort, or difficulty positioning at a traditional visual field instrument.

RETeval Electroretinography

While retinal imaging shows us what the retina looks like, electroretinography helps us understand how well it is functioning. The handheld LKC RETeval measures the retina’s electrical response to light, providing valuable information when evaluating diabetes, inherited retinal disease, medication-related toxicity, or unexplained vision changes.

NIDEK OPD-Scan III Vision and Corneal Analysis

The NIDEK OPD-Scan III analyzes much more than a basic eyeglass prescription. It evaluates corneal shape, optical quality, pupil size, and the way light travels through the eye, helping us better understand concerns such as glare, halos, night-vision difficulty, irregular astigmatism, and vision that remains unclear despite an accurate prescription.

Our NIDEK RT-6100 digital refraction system makes the familiar “Which is better—one or two?” portion of the examination faster, smoother, and more precise. It allows your doctor to compare prescription choices efficiently while carefully refining the lenses that provide your clearest and most comfortable vision.

Firefly Digital Slit-Lamp Imaging

The slit lamp provides a highly magnified view of the eyelids, cornea, iris, lens, and other structures at the front of the eye. Our Firefly digital slit lamps allow us to photograph and video document important findings, making it easier to monitor changes over time and show patients exactly what their doctor is seeing.

Measuring eye pressure is an important part of glaucoma screening and management. The iCare IC100 uses gentle rebound technology to obtain a quick and reliable measurement without the uncomfortable air puff.

Great eyewear requires more than an accurate prescription—it must also be precisely fitted to the patient and frame. The Optikam digital measuring system captures detailed measurements while you are wearing your selected glasses, helping us customize lens placement for better clarity, comfort, and performance, especially with progressive and digitally designed lenses.
